Dear Friends,

It is with both lasting sorrow and great pride in our country that I will, once again, be taking part in a 9/11 Memorial event.  If you are at all in the area, I hope you will consider joining me and many others, this Sunday, September 11, at 6:30 PM at the 9/11 Memorial Fountain, LAPD Fire Station 88, 5101 North Sepulveda Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, CA 91403.

There is free parking available next door at Sherman Oaks Castle Park, and refreshments will be served.

Wherever any of us may be that day, it is a crucial time for solemn reflection about the pain and sacrifices that so many suffered, as well as the hopes we have for greater peace and security in the days, months and years to come. It is also a transcendent moment for thanking our police, fire and emergency services who are our courageous first responders, so often at grave risk to themselves -- and, too, it is the perfect opportunity to remember to hold in our hearts those who serve, or have served, in the military, protecting our nation, its people and our liberty from threat and harm.

With all that in mind, and with our gratitude expressed to all the heroes who serve us so well, I wish you and everyone a fine weekend.

Sincerely,
Paul Koretz
