Latinos Love Baseball in Seattle
Almost 40% of all Latino adults have watched or listened to a Mariners baseball game in the past 12 months, compared to 34.2% for Sounders Soccer, 32.4% for Seahawks Football, and 20.8% for the University of Washington Huskies Football.
With an estimated 271,500 Latinos residing the seven Puget Sound counties of King, Pierce, Snohomish, Skagit, Thurston, Kitsap, and Island - a collective broadcast audience of 108,600 is quite impressive. ¡Muy Bueno!

Gary Locke from Washington State to Secretary of State

Locke’s father, meanwhile, was a small business owner operating a grocery store where Locke worked while receiving his education from Seattle’s public school system. His strong work ethic and determination eventually took him to the highest office in the state of Washington.
